A coding harness by somebody who is kind of obsessive about nice coding harnesses. That somebody is @ed3d.net. https://docs.polytoken.dev

aaaand Polytoken latest just received 0.6.0. now supports model request options for things like fast mode on providers. Specifically supported for OpenAI and DeepInfra for now, but you can extend it as necessary yourself. (also some fixes to support deepseek-v4-flash-0731, it's good!)

PSA - Polytoken stable updating to 0.5.10. Whole bunch of fixes and improvements that I think you'll like, you just get to like them later than the people on the latest track docs.polytoken.dev/changelog/

0.5.9: - shell_monitor can now be backgrounded. - shell_exec is more easily backgrounded by models. - Ctrl+B or /bg-shell will send the currently-running shell_exec or shell_monitor to background. - OTel now, uh, works. - Provider URLs with a trailing slash now work.

(psst. I’m not posting releases because now you don’t have to do anything to get them with the autoupdater. But there have been five so far since the switch)

Good news: Polytoken 0.5.1+ has an updater! Bad news: you have to go get it. Homebrew's deprecated now. Uninstall first. Once you reinstall with the manual download or the script, you'll be on the update track. curl -fsS get.polytoken.dev | bash ... ...I'm gonna leave the preview there, enjoy

here's a promise: polytoken will never decide your input is so unimportant that after sixty seconds it will just jam onward with whatever the hell it wanted to do perhaps the fable huffers think it will never betray them, but I do not agree
