it doesn't look like it's in the shipped build, but apparently at some point in the main project file for slarpg i accidentally set the "kiss allison" common event to increment the main story act variable and not the kiss counter. which is why my save file said i was on act 14
between the don't hug me i'm scared tv series and now the don hertzfeldt collection, dropout is really killing it with these licensed additions to their library. hope they keep it up
got a particularly obnoxious comment (that i deleted) on the TADC blog post that, among other things, said that all the stuff with jax was just a "man in a dress" joke. i genuinely don't know how you can watch the finale and have that as your takeaway. like. what
never stopped and thought about how funny it is that playstation all-stars battle royale has fat princess on the cover. fat princess is, in fact, the only female character on the ntsc/pal cover of playstation all-stars battle royale. what a time capsule
early on i briefly experimented with pixel art portraits in slarpg and i've once again briefly tried it for my next game. it does make things more visually consistent, but i'm just never sure if that's worth the tradeoff of how much longer it takes compared to just plonking in the high res art

that one big article about how a bunch of americans were taught how to read wrong changed everything for me. now when i get a comment about something i never actually said i think oh, are you one of the kids that got taught three cueing instead of phonics? are you half guessing what i said
i appreciate that they put sungwon cho and BDG on the same episode of make some noise to make it a "funny nerd guys i've seen on youtube" special
i know i'm preaching to the choir on this site of all sites, but i really think young queer people being active on twitter should be considered a form of self-harm in the same way that we generally understand 4chan is bad for you. because twitter is basically 4chan at this point
