I like of all the myriad of things I could do to actually become a successful artist, my favorite thing to do is just noodle on a model ajusting single verts of geo or single pixels of textures until they're perfect that no one will ever notice. I am my own worst enemy 🫠

Not to devalue Spindlehorse, Glitch, Lackadaisy, or any of the other S-Tier animation projects of late, but I don’t want that level of polish to be the new baseline for “indie”. I want my animation equivalent of xeroxed zines held together by off-center staples and a dream.

I changed my laptop's system font to the PS1 logo font, which looks kitsch as hell and breaks everything I've ever learned about respectable typography but I love it regardless

I love spending hours adjusting single vertices fractions of a inch at a time that will never be noticed in my 320x240 PS1 resolution renders 🙃

I think the reason I’m hesitant to do fan art at this point is that when I did, all I became for the majority of my audience was was an empty vessel to deliver more of that IP instead of a person. Also, I don’t want my body of work to merely be record of my preferred avenues of consumption.

I am just using random tools from GitHub repos for all kinds of shit, and each time its like: Windows: Run the msi macOS: Run the dmg LINUX: Well first download all these depenencies in the terminal, then curl install this thing, then open your /.config folder and set up this shit, then you gott-
