A common thread between people with a destructive emptiness in them is an inability to enjoy the natural world and even a harboring disrespect for it. Not saying doing so makes you peaceful always but it’s something I’ve noticed. Billionaires destroy it bc they feel nothing when they look at it.

i think its funny that people think "friendly workplaces where everyone is buddies and hangs out outside of work" is some ideal standard and not completely oppressive to anyone who is neurodivergent and/or nonwhite

to rephrase this, a common sentiment about AI is "the world is becoming ugly" but it made me realize that we've been accepting everything getting uglier for the same reasons the whole time. All my furniture is from IKEA bc it's cheap and available just like AI art is cheap and available.

IKEA, some factory glassware, a pack of bic pens. these were all crafts once and those artists had to watch their work become niche bc the average person wasnt particular.

i think it works best with they as well actually, sort of works in the places where they doesn't work - more clear as a singular pronoun - but places where it would be awkward like "sibselves" themselves works better. "she tried to help but sib wanted to do it themselves"
PET🐶@postpet.bsky.social · 3d agohow you would use it: "that's sibs" "i told sib and sib didn't want to come" "ladies, gentlemen, and siblings". You could also just say "Hey siblings!" as a neutral way to refer to everyone.
WAIT i just realized the perfect gender neutral pronoun: sib/sibs.... this is revolutionary
i think alongside my japanese studies i will also start studying music again bc it's so frustrating to actually have that "can play music by ear" skill but not able to actually produce it bc i havent memorized which sounds are which letters/keys/strings etc
