All glitching effects are completely true and analog, no post production fx or plug ins, and are directly from broken gear. The footage is then either directly shown through the analog tape players and/or projected in-room through an old panasonic video mixer, circuit bent dirty video mixer, or funneled through a 2012 era copy of VDMX on an old laptop before hitting the projector. Outside footage that is live mixed and transformed through dirty mixing and proojection is largely random from old cinema such as 70's #videonasty #psychotronic #70sexploitation scenes, or intentional small snippets of films such as 'Night of The Hunter" or #davidlynch #dumbland #animation . Like its audiomantik companion with the production marriage of an MPC sequencing custom recordings with a 4track as general mixer and record source or as custom tape loop player built into a travel suitcase (the #divergentmagick musickbox) this visual album uses #hauntomancy and specifically, #deadtechnecromancy as discarded capture and production talismans of yesteryear are revived within new currents to create something neither either old nor present, but above time and truly responsive to haptic and somatic manipulation casted in this earthly realm. Meaning the only post production shown here is simple video transmission layering, if any at all, most of what is shown here was performed, captured and casted as is. Has anyone else noticed New York City at night's atmosphere during tepid weather is synchronous to David Fincher's heavier green tinged / matte black / warmed yellow echoes of his cinematography? I also see Michael Mann's eye within LA's incandescent yellow smog atop a smatter of blueish cements.
