My RetroPie build is coming along well! 🎮 Mounting the NVMe hat to the Raspberry Pi 5 has honestly been the most difficult part thus far - all because I was using the wrong screw. 🥹 Also, why didn’t anyone tell me it’d take 20+ mins to install RetroPie? 😩

It’s my very first monthly builds kick-off! 🥳 It feels so good to finally get hands-on with some hardware! It’s been a minute since my PC build and I’ve been dying to explore new areas of building. July is gonna be a pretty chill month. Here’s a look at my plans for the month. [1/2]

Embarrassed to say that I’m finally getting around to using my Stream Deck to control my Teams meeting controls 🥹 + just learned that it can open apps/programs 😳 What else can this thing do not related to streaming? I need advice!

Evolving past just programming and adding a few other hardware related skills to my skillset has been one of the best things that I could’ve done for myself. I’m looking forward to a summer of tinkering and diving into electronics. Feeling pretty invincible - hope to keep this same energy! 🥹

Keeping in mind that I’m new here and never soldered a day in my life, could someone recommend a “first” soldering iron? I don’t have a budget because I’ve never bought one and quite frankly don’t know the correlation between cost and quality yet. Thank you. 👷🏾

I did it - I built my first PC! 👩🏾‍💻 And I didn’t even cry. I cursed a lot. But this PC build didn’t make me cry. Gonna change the LCD screen to Whitley in the AM but for now, it’s Aaron Pierre. 🥰

On the left is a computer monitor with an installation of Unity on the screen. On the right is a desktop computer with purple and pink fans. The PC case has a tempered glass cover.

Doing my first PC build - waiting for a few more items to arrive. Diving back into my Blender + Unity roots next year. 👩🏾‍💻 Any advice for first time PC builders? Don’t worry, PC Part Picker and I became well acquainted already. 🥹

Knock knock ✊🏾 Is anybody home? 👀 I can’t seem to figure out how to change my BlueSky handle but alas, Miss. Vogue & Code is here. 🙆🏾‍♀️ Is anyone else coming to MS Ignite? 👀

I’m new here to indie game dev 👋🏾 I’ve been working on a game called QWERTY in my spare time. It’s a mystery game that takes place at a keyboard company. I also 3D model + I’m currently making assets for my game. I’m not part of an existing studio but I’m in DevRel at Microsoft, background in AR/VR.

Winner winner chicken dinner! 👩🏾‍💻 Finally choose my new personal use PC. It took a lot of vetting + ensuring it has the specs necessary for the things I do. 🧑🏾‍🎨 Can’t wait to run all the things on it at once! Sad to say goodbye to my Mac. 🥺
