For me, the album that every single person that I knew owned was Enema of the State
Not one person I grew up with didn’t have this album. Not one. See you tomorrow nerds.
Oh I guess I should plug this song too while I'm at it, since it's based around what might be my favourite riff I've ever written. primebirds.bandcamp.com/album/the-wh...

One thing that makes me feel like an alien is when somebody at work or w/e is like "oh I went to see a symphony perform Coldplay songs it was so impressive! Youd have loved it" and I have to quickly decide how honest to be about how aggressively, nauseating boring and lame I would find that to be

Haven't posted here in a while, hi friends. I just remembered this song. I sang bass as part of my high school jazz ensemble as a favour for a friend that was running it. Without getting into a whole long story, I put up with a lot of bullshit just to be able to perform this song and I'm glad I did

It's finally here. Go listen to Lifelines on Spotify, Apply Music, and Tidal. (YouTube music is slow but it will be there shortly). Special thanks to @neverdave.bsky.social, @vonbeahm.bsky.social, and @primebirds.bsky.social for their contributions.
Never before has the first half of the first sentence of a wikipedia article told me literally everything I needed to know about the rest of the article.
Lifelines is now released for orders on Bandcamp. Grab your CDs and MP3s. You can even download Ogg Vorbis files if you're extra quirky. Streaming release Aug. 10. @abrasivemonologues.bsky.social @clysmic.bsky.social
Hey folks, here's a feel-good track from the wonderful songwriter @timwoodruffmusic.bsky.social who was gracious enough to let me join in on the fun and sing a little on his new track, "Here We Go"! Always great fun working with Tim and I hope you enjoy the results 😁
"Here We Go" feat @primebirds.bsky.social is out now!
Eat the Rich is the first Aerosmith song I remember hearing. I was 6 years old. Got in trouble for singing it at school! Never saw thr video before today. It's nothing special. Songs always worth a listen tho! youtu.be/o-0lAhnoDlU?...

If you could somehow find a bassist that had never heard I Can't Get No Satisfaction before, and played the guitar riff and asked them to come up with a bassline for it, they could take 1000 cracks at it and not come up with what Bill Wyman played. Truly one of the greatest bass parts of all time.

I still think The Warning's cover of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara is one of the best covers I've ever heard and I can't even explain why without a....spoiler alert? For a song? That you've heard a thousand times? Just go listen if you never have. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tKQ...

The funniest AI-gen'd email I ever got was from a guy that I've emailed many times (and know in person), never with a response of more than like 50 words tops, no punctuation. ONE TIME, I got a well-crafted, meticulous response. Then immediately went back to the short replies lol.
Financial circumstances mean I am available, possibly even a little desperate, for freelance gigs that can use my abiltiies as a writer (Cryptmaster, Valheim, Ironheart etc) and voice actor (Cryptmaster). Anyone who can pump the visibility on this will have my eternal(ish) gratitude!
My favorites were the fun kooks (Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. B-K, Mr. Runkhe, Mrs. Hanson) and the tough but fair kind (Mr. Salvas, Mr. Irwin, Mr. J Taylor) and if I picked 1 fave, maybe Mr. Adams who was both. I'm lucky, I had more good teachers than bad ones
Thinking about shitty teachers is a bummer so, what about good teachers? Who’s in your Hall of Fame & why? ⭐️ Mrs. Flam, 5th grade. Colorful polyester suits, orangish hair in an updo. Played guitar & taught us to sing age-inappropriate folk songs. Could see I was struggling & was unfailingly kind ❤️
alright I admit it, I don't think I ever actually *listened* to its raining men before. I heard it in a few jokes and ads and knew what it sounded like but never *listened* to it and uh, it's kinda good!??! Kinda very good!?
