yeah

In Mario Party, minigame descriptions treat being eliminated merely as being out of the game, except for Bumper Balls, which drastically shifts the tone by stating the winner is the last one left alive. This implies that while other minigames might be for fun, Bumper Balls is to the death.

In Mario Party, the descriptions for minigames involving characters being hurt or eliminated use neutral language, such as characters being "knocked off" or "poked", and the winner being "the last one standing". However, the tone shifts drastically for Bumper Balls, the Mini-Game Island description of which states that the winner is the "last one alive".

I had some music playing in the background while I was messing around in Luigi's Mansion, and I had to recreate something that made me nearly piss myself using the speed up function on Dolphin

All this retro handheld talk has me digging out some old systems. Kind of wild that they're selling for more than retail but I guess that's everything nowadays. I didn't play much on the system so time to start rediscovering!

A box for a black New Nintendo 3DS XL. It still has the yellow Best Buy sticker priced at $199.99. It has a number of callout arrows touting Super Stable 3D, Built in amiibo & NFC support, C-Stick, and Faster Processing Power

I cried like a fucking baby. This game ferried me through a break-up, a cross country move, my kitten growing into cat, and was a beacon for growing our community. I wasn't able to experience this game as a child; but it will forever be special to me. See ya'll for Majora's Mask. 💚

Screencap of Trash's stream. She is crying at the end screen for Ocarina of Time.
