This is where I am too. I obviously don't like his past comments on MG. I don't have anything useful to add to that. I've also learned not to get too into my impressions of people I don't know when I see they're at least trying to address their failures. Not everyone famous is good at that.

He's undoubtedly a good coach and I'll hold off until he does something shitty at Spurs. Fully aware of what has happened at former clubs
I'm admit most of my worst instincts as a person on here posting about Tottenham--most of which I manage to scrub out of my newsletter writing--come from being made into a fundamentally insane person by elite competitive middle-distance running. Many normal things I think of as loser shit.
I can live with selling Vuskovic though I don't love it, but Bergvall has already shown he has all the tools of a world class midfielder and it would be a terrible idea to sell him now. And I don't care what he wants or supposedly wants, bc he's an adult professional now and this is how it works.

After a bit over a month in Porto so far, it's my favorite place I've ever spent considerable time. But man do they walk slowly here. But I will maintain cognitive dissonance over the contradiction between my need to walk fast all the time and their superior cultures of food, drink, and leisure.
One thing I forgot to mention yesterday: preseason caveats and all, but I was very pleased with Andy Robertson's cameo. Even in limited minutes, it was like...oh, so this is what elite delivery looks like from a fullback on the other side. Between Porro and Robertson, hell yeah.
Kroupi is clearly a gifted goalscorer, but even without the injury is the type of player I wouldn’t go for, ie 1 breakout season off the bench, not a lot of football, limited in what he offers beyond goals * at this early point in his career*.
