@proftomuofr.bsky.social and I edited a book that challenges this narrative. This arguments gives the conservative power-brokers and their corporate allies an absolute free pass. Their hostility to the environment, to workers, to Indigenous reconciliation is at the root of Alberta separation.

Canada's bromance with the Carney Liberals continues. The latest numbers from Eric Grenier's The Writ seem to indicate that (a) Poilievre's re-embrace of his election campaign persona has not helped and (b) Lewis has maybe got a slight bump for the NDP (though the avg. projection remains dire).
While it might not be the only cause of the increase, the closure of Prairie Harm Reduction & the loss of those services has to be a very significant reason for the increase.
