I realize it's cool for you Americans to be ignorant, but just a quick FYI. Ontario is not a 'Canadian' name, it is indigenous. It was named Lake Ontario long before either of our countries existed.
In the European view, the fact that Donald Trump could be elected president twice and still command over 35% popular support after engaging in depraved, reckless and corrupt conduct is stark evidence of long-term institutional disintegration inside the US. The country is no longer a desirable ally.
As a Canadian, i think it's weird that the President of America only has to answer to the press. You guys need some type of question period where he can be questioned by congress or the senate. Would make it a lot harder to hide when the President has gone batshit crazy.
Socialism doesn't work in America because the poor working folks think they are closer to being Elon Musk than they are to the immigrants in their own communities.
