I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.

I played through Star Fox 1 & 2 less than a week ago and I genuinely believe the only reason these games aren't remembered as masterpieces (aside from SF2 being criminally unreleased) is the framerate issues aged so terribly I'd imagine FPS would be an easy fix for even a port, let alone a remake
