I did some research yesterday and what shocked me is I could not find anything that presented a justification for data centres at all. There is a UK government report which I've yet to read but right now it seems to be a 'build it and it will be used' approach.

To make matters even more ironic, if this data centre is built it will be just one mile from the largest sustainable development in the UK - Leeds' Climate Innovation District. The petition is rapidly growing, add your name today.
