I've done this on my blog, too, which would otherwise be years out-of-date on every dependency. On the other hand, waiting years until an update is forced and kicking the chore to claude is _also_ a cheap background task.

Our apartment building comes with a storage unit in the basement. We like to buy in bulk to save, but then forget we have extras in place we don't see often. It took a mildly embarrassingly long time to realize I should just leave a reminder on the item itself so we know when we run low.
Welp, it finally happened, GitHub's flakiness caused data loss. I wrote a review comment on a PR, clicked over to the diff to see something, and flipped back to find my comment gone. Ugh. Knowing this was probably coming didn't take the sting out of it.
