I normally hate Idiot plots, where the plot only happens because the characters are idiots- but usually it's because they're supposed to be competent, i.e. Prometheus. Resident Evil 2026, however- is perfect. I'd compare it to Markiplier's Iron Lung. The main character IS an idiot, in good ways

Been playing Wizardry Daphne, and while it sat on my phone unused for a few months because the starting tutorial was too hand-holding for my likes as the games major theme seems to be "forced error, the game" but it's been really fun.

Yknow, so much of my life has been performative. I think I've never really grasped this whole human thing and have been imitating the people in movies, the cartoons and pantomime, I was the one making silly faces as a mask, because it was both a way to make feelings real to me, and communicate them.

It occurs to me that a better adblock wouldn't just block ads, but block anything that passively uses more data and bandwidth per second, essentially a valve. The worst ad offenders are sites like wikia that are flipping through hundreds of ads, enough to make my steamdeck sound like a jet engine
I think i'm in my manic phase- buying stuff for my fixations, working on a dozen projects, eating weird. So far, I've gotten a ion Icade controller to work my PC for street fighter, made a visualizer for sound location so my mono ass can tell if sounds are coming from left and right, and
My method of playing any retro RPG that isn't FF2 (or 8) is to run around the starting town until I have enough gil for 99 potions, and my WHM or BM can 1hko a basic enemy with a melee bonk. For emus and modern remasters with a speedup button, this involves a fast forward murder hobo montage.
Python is magic. Everything else in this damn world doesn't work or wants to charge me up the arse for the priviledge, but I found an old ion icade cabinet, it doesn't work with PC due to acting like a keyboard and weird. One import vgamepad and one import keyboard later, I'm spinning bird kicking.
