obviously i think AI is an abomination. i have talked about this for a long time and will continue to do so, but today i was struck with something REALLY COOL that i do not think is discussed enough on the opposite end: the JOY and FULFILLMENT of being able to hire and work with human artists.

Does consent exist between a writer and readers? I think that is the essential question our society struggles with regarding AI and story writing. There should be sufficient disclosure that a reader can decide if they consent to giving their attention to a writer's story.Does consent reframe things?

There is a lot of focus on AI, but I recently came across another interesting rapid novel technique that involves re-working books that are in the public domain. For example, one might add a few missing Zombie scenes to "The Count of Monte Cristo" and republish it. Thoughts?
