Beginnings of swinging mechanics, it's starting to come together
QG@qgdev.co.uk · 6mo agoSo now I'm remaking it to hopefully use a similar mechanic for a vertical climber game where you play as a spider. I don't want to let this one go as it's a really simple project, and it'd be fun to get it polished. Hopefully this will make a bit more sense when it doesn't have planets in it!
So I started messing with this as the concept of an infinite runner set in space. The problem is there's nothing to slow you down in space, so there's no real challenge. You could gain velocity from swinging from the planets, but you wouldn't lose anything
