Finished reading Steve Brusatte's "Rise and Reign of the Mammals" I've never been too interested in mammals, but man, this book is great! It was fun to read about the evolutionary history of mammals and all the weird adaptations that different groups have had

I read "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir Holy sh-t, its so freaking good! Peak science fiction! Fiction with enough science to make it tangible and understandable The amount of creativity and thought behind every single thing in the book is beyond incredible!

A few years ago I was asked to be a small part of Project Hail Mary. This is a selection of designs from my first few passes on Rocky, our main directive was to find interesting ways to play with asymmetry, silhouette and texture while I took some attempts to imbue ways to depict culture

Opening today at the Hollytrees Museum, Colchester, is an exhibition centred around "Juliasaurus": an Allosaurus-like theropod #dinosaur from the Morrison Formation. I was hired to produce a #paleoart reconstruction to accompany the skeleton. Tickets available now! @colmuseums.bsky.social
