Trump has checked out on Iran. He's letting his toadies run the war while he concentrates on important issues, such as collecting bribes, alienating allies, praising dictators, building tacky monuments to himself, undermining elections and posting A.I. images of himself as the leader he'll never be.

“Everybody now sees America as less than it was before.” He views Trump’s travails as part of a “precipitous collapse of American power and American prestige” and says “once this war is over, the U.S. is going to find the rest of the world much more difficult to herd around any coherent policy.”

Donald Trump came into the war with Iran on a high. Six months in, it’s hard to view the outcome of the conflict as anything other than a profound strategic defeat for the United States. www.newyorker.com/news/global-...

A drone strike on a U.S.-owned tanker in Egypt; Houthis firing on Red Sea shipping; the Saudis and Iraqi militias trading attacks; Iran attacking U.S. troops in Jordan; China and Russia arming Iran. Trump's war is morphing into the regional conflict many feared it would become. Nice job, Donnie.

It should be clear by now that DHS believes it has free rein to kill people without consequences. Its self-investigations are farces or nonexistent, and its lawyers have been called out by judges for lying in court filings. This is a deep and bloody stain on America inflicted by the MAGA cult.

Four states are standing in the way of a water rights deal that tribes say would help them build more housing, grow sustainable economies and better protect public health. “It’s a fundamental human rights issue,” said one law professor. w/ @kjzz.org

Native American Tribes Came Together to Secure Their Rights to Colorado River Water. Four States Are Stalling the Deal.

Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming are resisting the deal because it would allow the Navajo and Hopi to lease water to cities downstream, likely the growing towns around Phoenix.

The Trump administration is paying Duke Energy $129 million in taxpayer dollars to stop its North Carolina offshore wind farm. Trump has now paid over $2.5 billion to terminate offshore wind projects that would have provided affordable energy to millions. He's enriching Big Oil at our expense.

Here's the context you won't find in corporate media: Trump is done with Iran. He never cared about it or the Middle East, he wanted glorious victory. Now he's furious. He's told Vance to get him the hell out of there. Meanwhile he continues to mutter vile threats. presswatchers.org/2026/06/pres...

From NYT: "The Pentagon put the cost of the war on Iran at 'closer' to $29 billion, roughly $4 billion more than two weeks ago." For the arithmetically challenged, that's $2 billion a week added to the national debt, and that's only if they're not low-balling the cost. Your tax dollars pissed away.

It's important to keep in mind that we're funding Trump's needless war at $2 billion a day AND Republicans are letting him do it. Vote them all out. Every single one of them.

“I have the best plan of all,” Trump said. “But I’m not going to tell you what my plan is.” Anybody who believes such infantile bullshit from a lifelong conman has to be dumb beyond belief. He's the most prolific liar to ever walk the earth and too lazy and stupid to create any sort of real plan.
