A hedge fund is a legal structure (3c1/3c7 exempt private pooled investment vehicle, distinguished by indefinite life and periodic subscription/redemptions), not an asset class. Many do have mandates to hedge/deliver low volatility returns, but that’s irrelevant to their classification as such.

This is a very quarter baked idea but it feels like it would make way more sense to Sovietmaxx with government owned restaurants/food halls instead of grocery stores. If my envelope math is correct you should be able to serve Kimi K3 locally out of 2x DGX Stations at a very usable rate for $175k , or like a bazillion Sparks cluster at an unusable slow rate if you want to deal with a ton of networking hassle for $50-75k.

It’s crazy how there are actual people (like Bill!) with such genuinely superhuman charisma that you can’t help but like them despite being huge scumbags. It’s also unusual how few of them really get into politics, frankly

I guess what I find alarming about the million-dollar-coin-flip question is not that people get it wrong (that’s expected). It’s that it has a correct answer, which is the same for almost anyone - e.g., an answer a fiduciary would be expected to give - and people who know better won’t admit that.
