boo hiss. i've steadily resisted activating gemini on my phone. i do use voice control sometimes when i'm on my own & my voice is working, but i guess i didn't need it anyway, because like hell am i activating gemini just for voice control.

Google Assistant’s days have been numbered for a while, but the company has now settled on a date to retire its pre-AI assistant robot.

wherever they happen to fit or currently be piled, with the ones i read most or am currently reading on top or in their own piles, or in my bag that i take places. i have two bookshelves on which there are zero books. the rest of my books are still boxed up. one day I'll have bookshelves again.
