"Playing politics" is detrimental to the pervasively & deeply rooted "male dominating entitlement" in our Patriarchal-structured societies. Millennia-old, they are not to be taken for granted, nor posited as "God-given" as too many "Christ"-ians unequivocally assert.

Highlight injustice, put oneself at risk, take the state violence while remaining nonviolent, generate images for the public, more see the undeniable injustice and grow more sympathetic, until state behavior changes. That’s exactly how civil disobedience is supposed to work. Well done, Minnesota.
Great seeing so many Christian leaders, along with other religious leaders, speaking out for human dignity, rights, and respect in Minnesota—"whatever you did for one of the least of these..."—while America is run by power-abusing "Christians" who stand for violence, money, and cruelty to strangers.
