Okay the fact that you can configure Period English or Modern English in The Killing Stone is undeniably pretty rad I have it set to read the period English audibly but it displays on screen in modern English so I can get the best of both worlds

"Pay me no respects?" Oh, but we have so much respect for the talented and gracious @emmagregoryvoice.bsky.social for voicing our Mariken, the dark matriarch of #theKillingStone. There could be no other. Listen to that voice. Who else could transcend death?

A game a couple years before its time. Co-op Thief-esque stealthy immersive sim. Never developed the audience it really deserved (it would have also been called friendslop now), but they did some amazingly cool stuff with live narrative as the gods of the setting talked live to players on voice.
