I am who I am

… actually, they had a lucrative career as post-Senate lobbyists to lose !!! Ex-Senators in good standing have access to the Senate floor. That's quite an advantageous and financially rewarding discriminator for lobbyists …

My Latest: I am not a gambler. But if I were, I would always bet against congressional Republicans acting with integrity or demonstrating political courage. newsletters.democracydocket.com/tillis-and-c...

I just finished reading Haberman-Swann's "Regime Change" and have but one question. How can so many otherwise rational and competent individuals willingly submit to and support the incompetent whims of an insecure, irrational, dimwitted nitwit? www.simonandschuster.com/books/Regime...

Sen. Cory Booker didn't waste a second pretending Todd Blanche was anything other than what his record shows: a bootlicking coward who serves Donald Trump before he serves the American people.

@billkristolbulwark.bsky.social on Sens. Cornyn and Tillis supporting Blanche’s nomination after saying they would oppose it. “Democrats can say, if you want any check on Trump, you need to vote for a Democratic Senate because this Republican Senate... ends up bending the knee.”

Tapper: "There are now three women who have accused you of violent behavior…Are all three of these women who don't know each other lying?" Rep. Max Miller: "Yes…It's all hearsay." Tapper: "It's not hearsay if it is firsthand testimony from women."

THE HAWAII SUPREME COURT issued a stunning opinion last month explicitly stating something that many other judges across the country have been thinking: Donald Trump is not the only snake in the garden. The justices in the majority on the United States Supreme Court are a danger to democracy too.

A Blistering Critique of the Roberts Court, From Hawaii’s Supreme Court

In an extraordinary opinion, the state justices accuse the SCOTUS majority of undermining democracy.

"If Senators Cornyn and Tillis are too dense to understand the difference between 'not operative' or 'not moving forward,' and 'dead forever,' then maybe Trump stumbled on something true by branding them as no longer fit to be senators."

The GOP plans to cut Tarrant County's Election Day voting sites in half. One Democratic candidate for Texas House: a "voter suppressed, racially gerrymandered, poll cutting" county that sends letters to living people and declares them dead so they can't vote. The GOP can't win unless they cheat.

For years there have been accusations about how abusive Rep. Max Miller is toward his now ex-wife, who also happens to be the daughter of Sen. Bernie Moreno. Now, new court pleadings have forced Moreno to end his silence, and the repercussions from that have national implications. My write-up below.

Given Judge Williams ruling, how can the nitwit proceed with this fraud against the courts and the government and people of America ??? Do we really want to pay the Jan 6 insurrectionists as much as $1M each for their actions in 2021 ??? That would reward "Trump's Terrorists" for their actions …

District Judge Kathleen Williams ruled that the controversial "settlement" in nitwit’s lawsuit against the IRS was an improper exercise and brought for an improper purpose after a bipartisan group of former federal judges petitioned the court warning of a potential fraud on the judicial system.

Todd Blanche wants you to think the so-called "anti-weaponization fund" established as part of a purported settlement between President Trump and the IRS is dead. Don't believe him; it’s just sleeping. New from Philip Rotner:

Don’t Believe Todd Blanche About Trump’s Slush Fund From Hell

The attorney general nominee did not kill off Trump’s egregiously corrupt fund, even if he duped Sens. Cornyn and Tillis into thinking he had.
