this makes me so depressed for reasons i can't put to words

it feels weird posting the regular content i'd post on twitter ("i am so single and wildly depressed and need to be shot in the face with a gun") here but we will persevere!

Threads is exclusively posts from people who can't tell a story in less than two tweets, and who think good story-telling is emphasizing a couple words for dramatic effect so maybe their mundane stories seem interesting "MEANWHILE i was minding my business at the ATM (22/)"-ass posts

Have been trying to describe Threads & what makes it so uniquely bad, and I think "LinkedIn level bullshit for your personal life" is the best I could conjure up.

Pretty fitting that the last post I saw before twitter went down was the guy from dukes of hazard threatening to kill the president

I am simply not prepared for twitter to be dead I needed more time
