It's time for the Trump Administration to uphold its obligations on the Brandon Road Interbasin Project. Illinois has spearheaded this to protect the entire Great Lakes, but they continue to throw up roadblocks. Stop playing political games and move this project forward.

This week, I voted NO on the annual defense bill (#NDAA) because I refuse to fund Trump's war with Iran. This bill also included the voter suppression SAVE Act. While we did not have enough votes to stop this combination bill in the House, I’m urging my colleagues in the Senate to VOTE NO.

I just joined my 209 fellow @housedemocrats.bsky.social and four Republicans in passing the War Powers Resolution to finally end Trump’s war with Iran. Unfortunately, Republicans in the Senate just blocked it.
