It will be worse than this! Most websites will be forced to ask you to send your ID to a third party surveillance service, adding a credit card won't be enough for most. Bluesky asks for your *social security number* if you live in Texas now, due to this shit. Call in, and kill it.

To start the week, here's a sneak peek on an in-progress system we're working on: BLANK's map! Right now, we have the code to display the different rooms in a Location and show properly how they're positioned relative to each other - next step will be to make some art for it!

just did my first full week of daily short-prose / diary-type writing, at @bustedkeyboards.bsky.social ' suggestion. checking in with yourself every day isn't always fun, but it's no less of a helpful practice and diversion to keep the words tapping.
i feel fortunate that the menace of the years as-of-yet finds me unafraid i'm happy i'm still here. it feels good to have been around a while and have a little while longer to be around for yet.
thinking about save files... safe files. the wish that people have to hold onto their time with a game in some more-or-less solidified form. losing a save file as a kid can be genuinely devastating / cause grief; and even as an adult, it's upsetting.
