Furious with Amazon. My kid’s Christmas present arrived today. Despite me specifically requesting Amazon packaging, it arrived without Amazon packaging and was just left on the doorstep (even though we were home). So now my kid knows what he’s getting for Christmas.

Following someone rear-ending me last Friday, I have minor whiplash. Insurance company want me to have it noted on my medical records. Every day this week I’ve tried to get an appointment or call with my GP surgery to no avail. This morning they’ve told me to go to A&E?!

I can’t think of a single dystopian novel or movie that imagined our government filled not with aliens but ignorant conspiracy theorists, Russian assets, sex criminals and grifters.

I also like dogs. I’m a convert. Having adopted a rescue two months ago and previously having said I will never get a dog. Changed woman I am.

Okay so what do we do here? Is it like old Twitter? I like Threads but can’t seem to get news or politics on there, which is just fine by me actually as long as I can find somewhere that gives me news/politics in real time.
