UPDATE: The Gens 2024 mod loader now supports Gens 2011 Mirage files (models, materials, etc.)! It accomplishes this by upgrading the files in-memory, at runtime, to 64-bit, using newly-added functionality to HedgeLib. This demonstration uses the "REAL Sonow Mod" by velox.ini youtu.be/zK1_o1JSje8

This doesn't matter, but I've been looking into more of the files in Gens 2024 more closely now, and I'm baffled by several of the seemingly random changes they made. For one thing, they decided to pad all of the AR file entries to 16, but they accidentally padded the *data* instead.
UPDATE: The Criware audio portion of the Gens 2024 mod loader is FINALLY mostly done, and I've begun the testing phase. This was a complex project which required multiple years of reverse engineering and programming efforts. I'm happy it's finally coming together! www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CKp...

UPDATE: I'm working on the Gens 2024 mod loader again. My life's chaos has been... controlled (for now). Settled back in to life in the US, got sick/recovered twice, and bought a new PC for myself, finally replacing my PC from 2014! This new machine is all linux because FUCK windows 11, holy shit

Tomorrow I'm doing a test where they're going to stick a big tube up my nose, down my throat, into my stomach, and have me swallow stuff. Then they'll take it out and put in a small tube, up my nose, down my throat. This one stays in for 24 hours. I come back the next day and they'll take it out.

I've been writing the mod loader backwards compatibility with possible future game updates in mind (lots of careful sigscans). I'm glad I've been doing that. They mentioned a new "Digital Deluxe Edition". We might be getting another update after all?
