Yesterday, the Michigan Supreme Court issued its ruling in NhRP v DeYoung Family Zoo. The majority denied leave to appeal against the Court of Appeals's decision to reject the petition to grant habeas corpus to seven chimpanzees kept in a roadside zoo. But there was a powerful dissent: 1/5
