I have a fandom friend in her 80s who lives in the UK and we are exchanging emails now about how to get around ffn's completely fucked posting system. Fandom really is beautiful bringing people from all over the world together to hate on ffn
yeah it turns out if you keep shooting people in the street and kidnapping children and making it impossible to get food or healthcare or education and then gloat about it, everybody hates you
Just left the doctor's office, and 🐝 is on the schedule to have surgery this Friday 🥴 not excited about that but grateful for a doc who was straight up and transparent with us and grateful to have a timeline for her recovery, even tho it will be months
Went to vote today (they let 🐝 vote curbside since she can't walk far) and was taken by just how many women I saw. Like seven women for every one man, poll workers and voters alike. Just wall to wall women. Let's go girls

This is a dark fucking day. AO3 is truly remarkable for so many reasons, and I'm so grateful for the dedicated people who make it run and are working hard to bring it back for us now. In the meantime, I always crosspost to FFN and will continue to do so for howl updates

We are in a small, isolated town and they weren't able to do an MRI, but advised that a big hospital would probably make us wait a few days to see if the swelling goes down before doing an MRI anyway. No broken bones but definitely has done something to her hamstring. But!! We are hashtag blessed
Welp. Our plans for today have been derailed and we are currently at the ER waiting to find out if 🐝 just tore her hamstring/needs surgery to repair it 😬 she's in a lot of pain and this was notttttttt the vibe we wanted for today
It's a beautiful day on the water 🩷 I caught three crabs (or possibly the same crab 3 times) and my WIFE caught a small fish. We also made friends with Jim, who knew we had worms and was not leaving until we paid him worm tax, which of course we did
