Beautiful day for my 1st ever visit to Carkeek Park! Leg is hurting now (still recovering from a stupid injury 3 months ago) from the 3.5+ mile hike required to get to the beach & back, to the only part of the park where public transit /city busses go. But! Great park! And SO many birds! #seattle

What happened at Seattle Center yesterday was a gang related shooting. W/ bystanders hurt, killed, & terrorized by it. The 16 y.o. suspect they arrested, looks 12... South Seattle & Aurora areas have been begging the wider city for help w/violence like this, & so far, have mostly been ignored...

Lots of inconveniences abt being hearing impaired. But 1 of the best things is, when movie theaters do showings w/open captions (on the screen)...they're usually 80%+ empty. It'll be me & maybe 7 other people in the whole place. Haven't had anyone sneezing/coughing on me in a theater now in YEARS. 😍

Folks had raw eggs thrown at them last night outside Rumors, Bellingham's only official LGBTQ bar. This, after violence against a community member there, less than 5 months ago. This shit is breaking my heart. And to say I'm angry is a MAJOR fucking understatement. JFC...what the fuck.
