Alright, it was suggested to me that I actually crowdfund the out of pocket cost for the lumbar MRI since my insurance keeps denying the day before the appt even w/ it as an important order. I will have more info in the replies as well. I was honestly hesitant but... ko-fi.com/portaltohades

Right now, I'm currently in need of a lumbar MRI but due to insurance denials and other roadblocks, I may be forced to pay out of pocket. Since trying to get it twice now, my symptoms have significantly worsened over the last few months. After discussing my options with friends, I've agreed to make a kofi goal to cover the MRI, bills, transportation, and a small cushion for other necessities. Literally any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I feel like I'm running around in circles with regards to my health. I've had this injury for two years, problems relating to it for over a decade, had it flare up so badly I can barely function for 6 months. What do you mean the best you can recommend is more bedrest and painkillers

We did it guys. Omg thank you so much for your ongoing support these past two weeks. We have just enough to pay for his surgery. Had to change our usual vet for. Another one since ours didnt have room up until two week still and yeah its getting urgent. So swollen its seem to hurt when he's eating.

This is unlikely to mean that trans people will be excluded routinely, especially from basic services like toilets, but it does mean it may happen more often. In response to requests from trans young people and trans adults, we’ve co-developed guidance on what the new Code of Practice means, how to assess your safety in public spaces, and what to do when challenged. Here’s what you need to know: The Code of Practice applies to organisations, not individuals. There is not going to be a ‘toilet police’, and it is not a crime to use spaces and facilities that align with your gender. It may be more likely that services will challenge trans people or ask trans people not to use single-sex spaces. It means that we will not always know if an organisation or venue is going to be trans inclusive. Ultimately, what this means is that you will need to assess and check your safety as you move through the world. This is not new - we have always needed to assess our safety in toilets, changing rooms and in spaces with strangers. Remember: • If you do not feel safe, leave. Your safety is more important than making a point. • Avoid conflict. You are under no obligation to respond to someone who tries to stop you from using a basic service. • Document your experience. The law is not settled in this area, so if you are excluded, record your experience • It is not illegal to use facilities like toilets in line with your gender, and you should not face any police action See our guidance for more information on how to check single sex space polices, what your rights are, and how you can respond when challenged.
