some ideas on rain world benefactors and their daily life. the "broom" used here is a purposed organism that partially processes ash from incense into what will later become holy ash, formed from burning anything containing karma flowers.

a digital painting of a benefactor sweeping ash. next to it, drawings of incense sticks. one is straight, one is a spiral shape, and one is a branched fractal, burning and giving off smoke with blue mist and gold flakes. text reads, "incense comes in a variety of forms, while partly for novelty, most representations imitate perceptions of cycles. lighting mechanisms can become quite intricate." by the benefactor's broom, golden with orange tendrils, "when temples are cleaned, ash is collected by acolytes. purposed organisms process ash into the familiar shape of the pellets. as industrialization became more widespread, facilities such as side house were made specifically to produce holy ash for iterators and other industrial-religious projects."
