I’m a fan of Lawrence O’Donnell on MS Now but I have to say that I was taken aback at his shaky performance at the start of his interview with Iowa’s next Senator Josh Turek. Lawrence was visibly uncomfortable talking about Josh being a person with disabilities and wheelchair user.
On Disability Pride Month please take steps to reduce the stigma of disability by making an effort to change ableist attitudes This meme hit me hard. I was born with my disabilities and forced by people around me to be ashamed of my perceived weakness.
