With Gears of War: E-Day about to break free when it releases, I wanted to dive back into this universe and take a look at the novel that expanded the Gears world and its characters so much for me. As...

Gears of War: E-Day is a terrific 5/5 game. Easily the best way to get into the Gears franchise.

My October is stacked full of new video games to play: Gears of War: E-Day Ace Combat 8: WINGS OF THEVE Control Resonant I can't remember the last time so many new games were coming out that I wanted to play in a single month.

King's Man by Sally Malcolm is a well-researched, thoughtful, and emotional story that will leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what happens next. Read my full review here: www.nostalgiadepartment.com/kings-man-re... #BookSky #BookReview #KingsMan

Control Resonant launches in 28 days. We're inside a month now! I hope my physical disc arrives timely. 📅

Subject: Alan Wake. Report: [CLASSIFIED]. Quality: dubiously unprofessional. My piece for this years @fbczine.bsky.social ! #fbczine2026 #alanwake

I was looking forward to playing Control Resonant but its so unfortunate the physical game is delayed a month. I don't have the funds to double dip with digital so I'll just have to wait. I may have to unfollow some accounts and stay clear of socials to avoid spoilers while I wait for my copy.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

FBC Zine: Volume 4 has been out for one month! 🥳 We hope you've been able to dig in and savor each of our contributors' delightfully tasty pieces 😋 If you haven't downloaded your free copy, find it here: fbczine.carrd.co #AlanWake #ControlRemedy #ControlResonant #FBCZine

Kevin Conroy and Peter Cullen were defining voices of my childhood. Now both are gone. Peter Cullen's talented performance as Optimus Prime was iconic. He had a voice you could immediately recognize, even while watching Toonami's new anime previews. He was good man who will be missed.

Not Peter Cullen...

Rebel by @sallymalcolm.bsky.social is an enjoyable glimpse into the lives of 18th century gentlemen navigating politics and love in a time when either could get you into trouble. Read my full review here: www.nostalgiadepartment.com/book-review-... #BookSky #BookReview

Book Review: Rebel

Sally Malcolm is quickly establishing herself as one of my favorite historical romance authors, and I haven’t even read all her books (yet).

The shadow drop of Lord of the Rings: War in the North was completely unexpected! The rumor of even more LOTR's games being brought to modern consoles would be amazing. Two Towers and Return of the King would be a true dream come true. Or just add all the games to backwards capability.

Its nice to see that Alan Wake II has sold over 3 million copies to date! 🎉 Sounds like Control Resonant is doing well for pre-order wishlists, so that's positive news. It's funny that Remedy is the only company I actually go and read their financial reports to see how they are doing.

Seven Sundays Vol. 1 unfortunately was rife with pacing issues, artificial drama, and vague plot explanations. While there were some parts of the story I liked, it wasn’t enough to salvage the volume for me. Full review here: www.nostalgiadepartment.com/seven-sunday... #ManhwaReview #SevenSundays

Manhwa Review: Seven Sundays Volume 1

Seven Sundays Volume 1 should have been a cute, fun, and romantic read, but unfortunately this title stumbles with pacing issues, artificial drama, and vague explanations.

Captain Quentin Michaelson is going to be in Gears E-Day! THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST GEARS EVER!

I've had a blast playing Horde Siege with the Gears of War E-Day beta. They really captured the feeling of a city under siege and the chaos to respond to E-Day. Very fun and fast paced. I can see myself playing this mode a ton when the game releases.

I picked up Pit Stop by G.N. Wright because I’ve never read a F1 book before and usually enjoy sports romance. 600 pages later, I ended up writing my longest review to date. Check out my book review here: www.nostalgiadepartment.com/pit-stop-rev... #BookSky #BookReviews #PitStop #ArcReview
