very positive thing: i splurged on a light that renders my walls and ceiling somewhere between an aurora and water. it is incredibly soothing and i can combine two colors to create the bluish/green or indigo/violet mood i prefer to recharge. worth it.

I think some people forget that deplatforming, firing, public shaming, and other social punishments for rape are the compromise. Justice demands dismemberment. Revenge deserves blood. It’s so fucking easy not to be a rapist. When you choose to become one, you decide to be reviled. That simple.
one reason i am so fixated on fictional theologies where the god(s) are distant/silent/non-responsive but retain their identity as loving/just/omniscient is because this ache for connection to a fake god is how it feels looking for connection to real people most of the time.
