This is a key finding. This is exactly the age— the first year of high school in many US school districts— when kids are both shoved to the bottom of the hierarchy and told they're being prepared for adulthood. In the current environment, the queerer kids are terrified.

Among 9th graders, bisexual identification fell from 11.0% to 6.9% between 2023 and 2025. That is where it was in 2019 (7.0%). No other grade had a significant change.

Kinktober Day 9: Massage Harley settled onto his knees on the carpeted floor, the diminutive possum unbuttoning his cuffs to roll up the sleeves on his white dress shirt. His eyes were fixed on the new responsibility set before him: the large, shapely bare feet that belonged to his boss, Louis LaFreniere, the CEO. Recently hired as Louis’ personal assistant following an enormously unorthodox interview process, Harley had been tasked with a few things that fell outside the normal purview of an executive assistant. Louis was a tall blue roan stallion with an impeccably groomed salt and pepper mane and an easy, confident smile. He was dressed in a tailored, three-piece pinstripe suit and his dress shoes and socks sat on the floor a few feet away. One thing Harley liked about him was that he was not the kind of boss who was content to spend his day behind a desk; Louis liked to spend time up and moving around, checking on things around the building and speak with his employees and he often used the building’s gym. As a result, his feet often felt sore. Harley was to help alleviate that with regular foot massages. “Would you prefer a cushion or something to kneel on?” Louis asked. Heat rushed up into Harley’s cheeks. “Oh, n-no, it’s fine, Mr. LaFreniere,” he said, shaking his head. “I’ll be fine like this…” “Alright,” Louis said, a quiet chuckle bubbling up in the stallion’s throat. “Please speak up if you change your mind. I like my employees to be comfortable while they’re working. I find it improves performance.” The stallion flexed his toes as he said that, the motion drawing Harley’s eye. The broad soles scrunched up deliciously and Harley swallowed, feeling an inexorable swelling in his dress pants. He tried to adjust himself on the floor so his arousal wouldn’t seem as obvious. If Louis noticed, he didn’t say anything. He just continued to regard Harley with that warm, confident smile. “Do you want me to use the massage oil, Mr. LaFreniere?” Harley asked. “No need just yet,” Louis said. “I want to feel your hands as they are.” Harley nodded quickly and reached out to lift the stallion’s left foot, bracing the heel against his thigh. He rested his hands on either side of that large foot, his small thumbs digging firmly into the arch, rubbing firmly in deep, slow circles. Louis groaned, his toes curling up in response to the pressure. “Off to a good start,” Louis said approvingly. “Those hands are stronger than they look. You ever do massages before, Harley?” “Oh, no, I haven’t…” Harley murmured. “You just feel especially motivated, hmm?” Louis teased. Harley blushed furiously and hunched over the stallion’s enormous foot, his thumbs continuing their dutiful digging into the stallion’s broad sole. The older man’s heady scent tickled his nose, thesilence broken by his soft, pleased groans. His thumbs worked steadily over the ball of that foot to his long toes. He rolled them around in his fingers, slowly tugging up on each one. He rolled the big toe around in his grip, pressing his thumb into the joint. He eyed the juicy digit and licked his lips, tempted. No, he had a job to do. He set the left foot down and lifted the right one against his thigh to continue the work. “Mmmm…” Louis sighed. “Good, good. You’ve been doing well in this role, Harley. But I think we may have hit on something special here…” Harley throbbed desperately in his pants, his heart hammering to the point where he began to feel a bit lightheaded. His fingers squeezed the stallion’s foot more tightly and he tried to bury himself in the work, but keeping such a large and enticing foot so close had his head swimming. He didn’t notice Louis shifting his left foot back toward Harley’s lap and tilting it forward. His toes pressed against the tent in the possum’s dress pants, eliciting a sudden, breathless yelp. Louis chuckled. “Can’t remember the last time I had a foot rub that good. You’re a miracle worker.” “Th-thanks…” Harley squeaked. His ears laid down and he held his hands over his snout, breathing heavily, his hips moving involuntarily against the stallion’s squeezing toes. “We’ll add this to your schedule,” Louis said, turning slightly and reaching over to his desk to pick up his phone, lightly tapping over the screen with his long fingers. He squeezed his toes around the tent in Harley’s pants, kneading the smaller man’s crotch. “And once you’re done, you’ll get a ‘massage’ from me in turn. That’ll be effective immediately, okay?” “Okay…” Harley gasped. “Is there...anything else you need me to massage, Mr. LaFreniere?” “I can think of a few things, actually. Let’s block some time out for a meeting to discuss that when I’m done here...”

Hey. Compliment the artists you admire. They don't get (positive) feedback nearly as much as you think and social media is hell. Be kind and remind them that someone likes their work... you might just bring em out of a pit of despair or at least made their day better.
