Roots Search probably has the biggest gulf between how sick the promo art is and the actual quality of the anime I've ever seen. It's not even really bad in a notable or funny way it straight up just kinda slid off my brain immediately after watching it.

Honestly not sure if it counts because it's something in my lifetime but for the upcoming generation, the idea of safe, well-moderated online spaces for kids and teens. Even the few remaining vestiges of that era, like Roblox, basically degraded into extremely unsafe, predatory environments
