At church monitoring the sound board levels while the band rehearses for tomorrow. Not something I anticipated doing when I started this journey, but I’m finding being useful like this to be rather fulfilling.

Certain gender issues for socializing as a nonbinary person who is single for the first time in over 30 years is a little confusing and annoying. Inviting a man or a couple over to have dinner and watch a movie is no big deal.

Considering getting an electric scooter next year, when finances are better. Almost all my driving is short distances on city streets with bike lanes, so it would really cut down on how much I use my car.

New adulting goal: Now that I have some living room-type furniture in my overgrown-dorm-room apartment, I’m gonna try inviting one or two people over for pizza and a movie every month. Gonna try having a social life outside of organized group activities. We’ll see how it goes.
