From a recent review: "It’s clear a huge amount of thought and research has gone into this, and probably the strongest entry so far. I’m on board with the deep worldbuilding and ancient vampire history, and I think you’ll have a great time." theaudiobookreview.com/blood-eternal/ #booksky #vampire

Image is of drawn freckled woman with curly hair and an explosion lighting her face. Text says, "Noosh's ongoing struggle with what she’s becoming adds a bit more weight beneath all the sex, blood, and banter." Review is of audiobook of Blood Eternal by Raven Belasco.

Image is of photo of women's neck with fingers touching it, with black hair framing it. Text says, "This one leans into the sophisticated and sexy side of vampire life, but also how perilous. There is still plenty of action, tension, vampire-grade violence and gore and of course the steamy parts that seem to get hotter as the series goes on." @ravenbelas.co #booksky 💙📚 DAMN! I ordered Raven Belasco's catalogue after audiobooking Blood Ex Libris and she threw in this gorgeous booktote, bookmarks, candy, AND PERSONALIZED SIGNING ON EACH BOOK!!! 😍 (oh, shit, just realized Finding Bela Lugosi was added by Raven and wasn't on my order!) 💙📚

Pictures is a black booktote with orange image of coverart from Blood Ex Libris, 2 stained-glass look bookmarks with tassles in orange and yellow, a bag of candy with vampire teeth.
Books included:
Blood Eternal
Blood Triad
Blood Ex Libris
Blood Demands
Finding Bela Lugosi
That Lesbian Vampire Pirate Story

Raven Belasco 📚@ravenbelas.co · 6mo ago

The thing I love the most about the cover is how sad Sandu/Dracula looks. I specifically asked for him to be visibly suffering ... and while the rest of him is delicious, I can't take my eyes off his sad, sad face 😂 www.amazon.com/dp/B0GBYWZLSY #booksky #bskybookclub

A very sad looking Dracula in a Santa hat, in a sketch-style image, followed by an Amazon review that says: "This is a writer who brings her characters to life so thoroughly you feel like they are in the room telling you the tale themselves.

This short story is full of rich history. There is great torture and sweet revenge. The ironic humor from Vlad about his situation keeps the mood light. Even when some of the torture is perpetrated with jolly Christmas tunes!

Dracula's Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Christmas is a great introduction the this author's colorful world of darkness."

Why I try to promote the Adventures in Bodily Autonomy anthology on *Meta* my views go from thousands to *zero* So please, Bsky readers, share this to help raise money for @reproductivefreedomforall.org in this time of crisis #reproductivejustice #womensrights #bskybookclub #booksky

Back in 2023 when the Dobbs decision loomed over all of us there was this terrible sense of dread hanging over me and every childbearing person I knew. I wanted to give more than the small amount of money I could afford to donate. Just giving a one-time donation wasn’t going to help me with this huge ache inside me, needing to do something. What finally came to me was that I knew enough writers who were feeling the same way as me; we all wanted to do more, give more. Being writers, most of us didn’t have a bunch of money we could throw at the situation. But we did have words. We had a lot to say, and we could use that to raise more money together than any of us could give alone.

Picture shows introduction-writer Maggie Mayhem counter-protesting at an anti-choice rally

So, thanks to those amazing writers, I was able to pull together
Adventures in Bodily Autonomy: Exploring Reproductive Rights in Science Fiction, Fantasy, & Horror, which donates 100% of its royalties to https://reproductivefreedomforall.org

Every year since, I've been able to send along a check for much more than I could have donated alone. That feels really good.
Now, a federal appeals court has restricted access to one of the most common means of abortion in the U.S. by blocking the mailing of mifepristone. "This is going to affect patients' access to abortion and miscarriage care in every state in the nation," said Julia Kaye, an ACLU lawyer. "When telemedicine is restricted, rural communities, people with low incomes, people with disabilities, survivors of intimate partner violence and communities of color suffer the most."

Picture shows ebook and paperback of Adventures in Bodily Autonomy

I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone that this anthology is still out there, and Aqueduct Press and I are still donating 100% of the royalties to Reproductive Freedom For All

If you haven't bought a copy for yourself, yet, now's the time. When you're done reading it, hand it to a friend or leave it in a Little Free Library

You can snag your copy on bookshop.org, on Amazon, B&N, or ever better, request a copy from your local bookstore

The world of the am'r is a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated--unless it's an enemy vampire, in which case you do unto them before they do unto you! #IWD2026
