Basically walked through Mordheim today at Orlando Epic's Dark Universe park. A little gothic village named Darkmoor. Makes me want to make some terrain!

My wife planted some "summer squash" seeds from a Vietnamese market, which I'm pretty sure are actually Opo squash, and they're growing like crazy. This thing is about 2' long and still growing.

A picture of a corner of a garden by a brick wall. There is a very long green opo squash growing and hanging in the middle oftl the picture. There are lots of vines zigzagging above it.

Got a boardgame setup on the table for tonight! It's called ~~Star Trek~~ er Starship Captains where you fly around in suspiciously saucer like crafts with officers wearing red, yellow and blue to take actions and do missions. Never played it before, thought I'd try it out!

The #boardgame Starship Captains by CGE games mostly setup on a big purple hexagonal table.

I printed off all of the Hexengarde "The Narrows" kickstarter items awhile ago. Spray primed some, started painting some, but ennui hit when our Frostgrave game turned out to not be happening. I think they look cool on the shelf over my desk at least. One day I'll paint them up!

A series of ruined medieval row houses, 3d printed in grey filament, with some of them primed brown, sitting on a white kallax shelf.

They're from the @TiredWorldStudios Hexengarde line of 3d prints. This is almost the entirety of The Narrows kickstarter printed out.

All printed on an Elegoo Centauri Carbon 3d printer.

Slowly coming to terms that my hobby is preparing for the possibility of games that will most likely never occur. (I have models and/or terrain for Mordheim, Necromunda, Warcry, AoS, Frostgrave, Middle Earth: SBG, Marvel: Crisis Protocol...) Currently printing some Necromunda stuff that looks neat

Fixed my printer, for real! Cleaned off all of the grease and reapplied some Super Lube. Opened up the extruder box, which was full of plastic dust, and upgraded the gears. Swapped the hotend for a new legit one from Elegoo. Printed a bed leveling tool and got the bed closer to level than ever.

Two #Escher Necromunda minis (from the 2017ish era) painted up to give scale to the center piece, a 3d printed pair of generic tanks with a gothic altar computer station. It's an unpainted grey scatter terrain piece for #Necromunda.

The print comes from this cool free pack https://www.printables.com/model/1640141-storage-tanks

The piece was printed on my Elegoo Centauri Carbon, 0.4 nozzle, 0.12 layerheight with some adaptive settings on to make the rounder bits nicer. It took 1.5 hours to print and only used 24g of PLA+ filament since it's hollow inside.

We're starting to plan our yearly lan party (6-8 people involved), trying to find some good games that work for that count. It'd also be great if they worked on Steam Deck (or cube, or frame??) because some of us just don't want to haul our whole computer out and the deck is fine enough for a lot.

Ordered a new hotend (arrives today) and some recommended lube and a replacement for the gears that I'm pretty sure I've ground down in spots. I wiped the grease off last night (is it supposed to be black?) and reapplied a hefty amount. I'm going to swap the gears and hotend later. Hope it works!

I need a local service where I give them one hundred dollars and my 3dprinter and they give me back my printer that prints like it originally did. (This thing is getting tedious)

Finished Malazan book 4 last night (Chain of Dogs?). It's good. First quarter being focused on one guy was very weird for a series that loves to have a dozen ongoing groups at any time. I think it was the first time they mentioned the Malazan colors being mauve and gray (like my Cities of Sigmar!)

As someone who loved the original Necromunda, played the LRB/ORB rules for years, and then was completely turned off by the previous "Every gang is so different now they all need $50 books and complicated post-game workflows of their own," how much am I going to like the new edition of #Necromunda?

Played Another Door's demo with three friends last night. It's basically The Prisoners Dilemma, The Game. 4p, try to get the most gems by living the longest, with each room giving everyone the same set of choices, making a series of secret decisions and then revealing to show the effects.

The "no cheating, post your lock screen" posts reminds me that I can't post mine unedited because it has my wife's phone number on it. You should set your lock screen text to something like "In case of emergency, call: " so if your phone is lost or you're incapacitated, people know who to call.
