The world's normiest weirdo. Yes, that's a real Emmy. No, don't blame me when PSN is down. I play Magic the Gathering but I only buy the cheap cards. まだ日本語を習っている。
The police should 3D-print a minimum wage employee and then swoop in when a boss doesn't pay for overtime
This is insane.
I met my cousin Carol for the first time ever when we were both standing in line for the Rocky Horror Picture Show (we grew up in the same town but had never met because our parents had some kind of beef and we went to different schools). It was a very confusing conversation for all our friends
The bigger the scope gets, the more disparate the people involved in a decision will become. And it turns out that at any company with more than a handful of employees, the only universally-shared value will always be "money"
Without competitors, the argument against enshittification becomes, "I would feel bad about myself if we did that." This argument always loses to the bad guys, whose argument is, "We will all get richer if we do this." 38/
This has been on of those posts which has lived in my head rent free to the point that when I DJ'd last month I made sure to reference it, I'm not sure if anyone at #EMFcamp got the joke or not but it was for me so that's not the point.
RetroArch is a psyop, a false flag to convince people that emulators are difficult to use, unintuitive, and maintained by unfriendly people uninterested in making anything better.
Guy who has only played Cocoon: getting a lot of Cocoon vibes off of this
Love it when we're all reacting to ragebait that was posted without a link to the original source and nobody even knows what the context is
"Still me, Mulder" is a load-bearing pillar of my marriage
Television used to MEAN something in this country. 🧐

no puzzle in Big Walk could ever be as challenging as getting 4+ people to be available at the same time to play Big Walk
Blade: some motherfucker's always tryin to ice-skate uphill Deacon Frost: wow have you ever considered the way that your irrational vampirophobia is directly harming the blood economy
They're even more unpopular than data centers.
The last five websites on earth are all full of screenshots of the other four, and Threads ain't one of em
Remember when Facebook killed like 4 different websites by lying about their video numbers. I think you can just look around. People don't post to thread..... threads. People don't screen caps of funny threads posts. Even if the numbers are semi accurate, it's not going to serve you.
the first time I watched this, I somehow thought this was like two streamers discussing this with another, or maybe a streamer brought on an "industry analyst" to explain what Twitch might be thinking. but no, that's The Guy Who Did It. incredible
they know we don't want it. they do not care.
Japanese is awesome because the Tō in Marvel Tōkon is the same Tō as in Battle Arena Tōshinden, and the Kon is the same Kon as in Katamari Damacy
thinking back to the time I was staying with friends in an AirBNB and the note from the host said "feel free to use our Alexa!" (which was quite novel at the time) so my friend said "Alexa, turn on xbox" and it replied "I've added Xbox 360 to your Amazon shopping list" and we couldn't remove it
slammed the brakes so hard I flew through the windshield
this was NOT what I was trying to make but it looks crazy cool I had to clip it #pico8
Tangentially related, but it always annoyed me the way Sine Mora resets your score counter whenever you use a special weapon or activate the time-manipulation abilities. All the unique and interesting parts of the game are instant run-killers
I agree with this but mostly in the context that every retro achievements page I've seen for a game I liked was full of "achievements" that were like "intentionally ignore all the game mechanics and suffer for no reason" and inevitably that leads to streams that make great games hideously unfun
