Love New Zealand, Aotearoa. Blanking anything Trump-like. Living positively, I will rise

The absolute brass balls of TPU to complain about the cost of setting up Waikato Water when THEY WERE THE ONES CAMPAIGNING AGAINST 3 WATERS!!! 3 Waters was the cheaper, more cost effective option for councils and taxpayers, and TPU actively fomented and stirred up racial hate to get it ditched.

The Labour Party leadership has become too privileged. We need politicians that have worked in the real world and understand the collective benefits of worker unions, who implement infrastructural change to the economy and society to rebalanced things in favour of poorer people and working people.

I hope the other parties pick up this anti-corruption batton in some form - it's critical for everyone who wants to live in a true democracy #nzpol Opportunity Party vows to 'clean up politics' with lobbying and donations reforms | RNZ share.google/Zqftc6tPFRJe...

“The Greens had written to the Speaker and met with him “multiple times” about the “demonstrable fact” there was uneven standards being applied.” These uneven standards are what sexism & racism look like - it’s disturbing Parliament alongside mainstream media can’t muster the energy to call it out.

“A study of the Hansard supports Green Party co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick’s allegation that Speaker Gerry Brownlee gives New Zealand First’s Winston Peters a latitude he denies her, and other MPs who challenge Peters’ conduct.” #nzpol

The world is burning and melting while two large multi-country wars rage (+ smaller wars), people around the world are in a cost of living crisis, and the global stock markets? They reach $record breaking levels. There seems to be no link between the two? It astounds me on a daily basis. #capitalism

#nzpol A new report shows that New Zealand wages are falling faster than anywhere else in the OECD. The Government should spend less time attacking working people, and more time looking for real solutions that lift New Zealanders' wages.

No matter what Luxon does he says that it will grow wages, hes been saying this since his campaign and so far none of it has grown wages. CEOs dont grow wages. CEOs grow profit for investors and stakeholders. Its all talk and slogans.

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years: Tax cuts for the rich ...don’t trickle down Boosting military spending ...doesn’t bring peace Slashing regulations ...doesn’t create jobs Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

Quick reminder that labour introduced a tax transparency bill that would report on how fair our tax system is anually and the first thing luxons govt did was repeal it so that nobody would get that information.

'Of the 37 rich nations tracked by the [OECD], only New Zealanders have suffered a steeper fall in their after-inflation wages than Australians over the same period. By contrast, British real wages have increased by almost 8 per cent.' www.theage.com.au/politics/fed...

Australia’s real wages slump one of the worst in developed world

One of the nation’s top economic forecasters warns the next two years will also be a grind thanks to higher unemployment and more poor wage growth.
