The most anti-legal immigrant administration ever just made it illegal for international students to transfer schools or change majors or shift any "educational objective" in their 1st year and for graduate students **at any point** ever, at all. There is no legal basis for this

The bicentennial made such a tremendous impact on American *pop* culture--I remember the Barney Miller episode about it!--there were tricorner hats everywhere, hit songs, a movie, and the logo and local parades all year long. This year it feels as empty as the mall.

Literally no one is suggesting that people should regularly bike across this rural Ohio county, but rather that it would be better if kids who lived within a mile or two of one of these schools could safely ride there

Trying so hard to stay out of this discourse but still thinking about the comment that said most US Americans stay within 20 square miles every day My childhood school district covered 119 square miles, couldn't always afford buses. And I'm from Ohio, one of the most populous states.
