Part of Hauser’s schtick is that he kicks people out of the Democratic Party and then when they react by getting friendlier with Republicans claims that this vindicates him, so then he moves on to the next set of people to try to alienate.

This is the problem with populism: you cannot build a republic on a foundation of conspiracies. Corruption and special interests are real challenges, but reducing politics to “us” against “them” infantilizes the electorate and sows the seeds of authoritarian rule.

I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.
