Wanted to do so much more for Artfight than just a measly 2 attacks, but motivation has been very up and down... Beginning of the month was especially bad. There is an attack I didn't even get around to finishing in time, so I'll just send it to the person on Toyhouse as a gift once its done.

if you are struggling to make ends meet, do not like the quality of work, or if it's just too expensive for you, you do not need to buy handmade art. it's okay. if you dont want it you dont have to buy it. that is allowed

Okay finally talking about one of my writing projects in proper: Flagrare. It finally has a title. Idk where I will go with this project but I'll show tidbits of characters and world building here and there so you get a better idea of things. Got refs and stuff to sketch up.

I wonder if those EoE theater showings were near me. Kinda wish I had gone to see it in theaters, would probably even be a religious experience seeing that in fuckin IMAX. I would absolutely leave the theater feeling both shaken and baptized. I need to rewatch it some time...

It seems people are often afraid of liking their own art work due to the worry of being perceived as egotistical or conceited, but you can still love your work and have a huge driving force behind that acting as a love for learning and improving. You can be proud and seek joy while you grow.

The amount of people expressing that it’s totally normal to feel like your own work is terrible is really sad to me. Sometimes social media feels like a contest to see who has the worst relationship with their art and I refuse to be a party to that shit lol
