I make videos about video games. Sometimes movies. Mostly Red Dead Redemption 2. he/him hello@realpixels.store youtube.com/realpixels

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 The Mexico missions in Red Dead Redemption are basically one of the reasons I wanted to research history in the first place. Finally, I get to share some of that research with you.

I spent years working on this series, and months remaking it as one big video. I had many long days, countless late nights, and got sick at least twice. And it all felt worth it the moment it received its first view. Thank you for giving me that feeling one million more times.

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 Some time ago, I had a question: how historically accurate is Red Dead Redemption 2? Four years later, I think I have my answer.

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 The final New Austin missions in Red Dead Redemption always feel like our big Avengers moment before heading to Mexico. But the most interesting part for me, of course, is the history...

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 Train Dreams is a lot of things. It's a film about the end of the frontier, and the approach of civilisation. It's a film about climate and nature, and how humanity has impacted it. But, perhaps most importantly, it's a film about life.

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 Last year, I made a video stating that my opinion on The Polar Express is correct and everybody who disagrees is wrong. This year, I have a confession to make: I may have been wrong.

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 Yes, I know I already made a nine-hour video breaking down the historical connections of Red Dead Redemption 2... but I'm not done yet. Let's take a look at the real history of Red Dead Redemption.

21 years of GTA: San Andreas! … and GTA Advance … and 25 years of Midnight Club and Smuggler's Run … and 15 years of Undead Nightmare … and 7 years of Red Dead Redemption 2 (Rockstar really seem to like 26 October for some reason…)

GTA: San Andreas is 20 years old today! One thing that surprised me on a recent playthrough was just how deep and nuanced its narrative and themes actually are. So, I made a video about it.

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 Yes, the King of Thieves may have won, the world might have been plunged into darkness, death, and destruction, and I may be the only hope to save the world from further chaos and tyranny. But first, I’m going to catch a really big fish.

Advice for creatives: print and bind your writing work! Having spent months (or, technically, years) working on my video about Red Dead Redemption 2's historical accuracy, it's so nice to actually hold the script in my hands.

🎉 NEW VIDEO 🎉 Why are we so attached to animals in video games? To find out, I'd like to talk about my fictional friend named Epoña. This is the story of a man and his horse.

I love making videos so much, I would do it even without an audience Thankfully, you've given me one anyway I appreciate every single one of you. I promise I won't let this go to my head
