Watching the World Cup and the halftime was a whiplash of musical acts: Madonna, White Stripes Seven Nation Army with the Muppets (Doctor Teeth and the Electric Mayhem), BTS (!!!), Bieber (???), Shakira (!!!), then Coldplay and even more muppets! Jaw was on the floor.

There are two spots open in the kid’s comics EXTRAVAGANZA summer camp at the Issaquah Community Center this August 3-14th! This is a half-day art camp diving into making comics, manga, and graphic novels for kids 8-12 years old. Registration ends August 3rd.

Had a wonderful time at the Seattle Astronomical Society’s public star viewing party in Snoqualmie last night. We got peaks of the stars between the cloud cover. Photos taken about an hour after sunset before total darkness rolled in.
