Love video games and music. Huge Kirby fan. Game and console restore/repair. Behind the scenes of AuroralVisage channels. So not hetero that my letter isn’t even in LGBTQIA2.

If you have to bully the marginalized to get your attention or punch down to get your laughs it’s really because you’re not exceptionally talented. And if you like that stuff I promise it’s because deep down you’re stupid.

Twitch Sponsorships use a somewhat nebulous "completed views" metric to determine creator campaign payouts. (Many creators find they get paid 30-70% LESS than max payout.) We now have some public insight: Ad blockers, JavaScript disabled, image blocking, and fraud filtering.

What are the limitations?
Ad Blockers: Ad-blocking software is capable of preventing ad creatives from being rendered. Some front-end ad blockers that disable images, JavaScript, HTML5 elements, and/or Flash are capable of preventing ads from being displayed. When these situations occur, there's no impression served, and corresponding clicks can't be generated nor counted.
JavaScript disabled: For Safeframe, ads won't render and instrumentation (impressions, viewability, measurability) won't fire. For light ads, depending on the placement ads may or may not render, but instrumentation won't fire.
Images disabled: Whether an ad renders or not depends on the creative (whether it has images). Instrumentation won't fire as image requests are generally blocked and Twitch's impression measurement methodology wouldn't detect images.
document.visibilityState not supported: Would result in no impression events fired.
How is traffic validated?
Matchmaking fraud filtering: Channel traffic validity is factored into the suitability filtering within the matchmaking tool for each creator.
Post-campaign fraud filtering: For view-based payouts, view counts undergo supply quality filtering before final counts are calculated.Bild

Can I be the next Bluesky CEO? The current joker doesn't even know why the platform has been successful. Which was a failing of the previous CEO too. 😒 This platform is leftist insofar as it has actual moderation rules and you can block bigots.

Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

We're starting from the impossible fantasy of "I somehow got 3+ adults to coordinate schedules enough for a game night" then adding "but in a way that didn't include enough time to illustrate a puzzle I created" and dude, just admit this is the only fantasy setting you've ever made up on your own.

"I'm entitled to whatever I want whenever I want it for any reason and I don't care what satisfying these urges does to me or the world" well okay dude, seems like there's something deeper going on here, but that's just my take
